Sunday Afternoon: Buster goes to WinterFest and Wadsworth Falls

The snow's over and done with, and it's a balmy 41 degrees F! Time to jump into the trusty PT Cruiser and take a Sunday trip with the dad.

First stop: The Lyman Orchards WinterFest in Middlefield! Lots of ducks and geese in the pond, but something else is attracting the crowds...

They call it "Ice Sculpture." Maybe they're making Margaritas?

Nope. Apparently, they're making roosters!

And cows...

Goats?

Okay--I get the farm animals--but a TRACTOR?

This place is weird! We're out of here!

Next stop: Wadsworth Falls!

Dad goes trout fishing here sometimes...it does look a bit fishy!

Nice waterfall...

Best viewed from a distance!

There's a cool rainbow that pops up in the mist every once-in-awhile...

Okay, time to head homeward!

Buster, your faithful correspondent, signing off!

Wow those ice sculptures look neat. Crikey you could have popped into visit Maggie & Mitch.
Thanks for taking us on a picture tour of Lyman Orchards and Wadsworth Falls. We like seeing new places. Boy pinky liked the tractor best. He said people on a neighbouring farm to them in New Zealand had a Farmall Tractor.

Hey, Kerries!

Sorry I haven't been around much, but I'm still on thesis duty. She's halfway done with writing, and this will be the critical month.

Good to see that you all are having a blast with or without each other. SO, when are you going to visit Maggie & Mitch? Hmmm?

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Well I think those ice sculptures are rather nifty. Better not lick them though or your tongue will stick!

Harry's right, your tongues would stick like glue to those ice sculptures! It must take a tremendous amount of work...and who would want to stay that cold for that long?
