Buster Takes the Waters: RELUCTANTLY

Hey, it's Sephie here, with the latest paradigm-changing research on the Kubler-Ross Grief-Cycle, applied to the bathing of Buster-dogs!

I'm going to get this published--then I can go to conferences and go on talk-shows.

Now this is a fairly simple model, but it's based on real observation. And it's thoroughly documented!

Observe....

STAGE ONE: "DENIAL"

STAGE TWO:

"ANGER"

STAGE THREE:

"BARGAINING"

STAGE FOUR:

"DEPRESSION"

STAGE FIVE: "ACCEPTANCE"

Well, at least he's clean and cuddly.

I wonder if other boy-dogs go through this bizarre cycle during bathtime...

Yours truly,

Persephone

Hehehe... that video was CLASSIC!

I'm not really fond of bathtime either, I can always tell when I hear the shower running that I'm gonna get pulled into the shower stall with dad or mom - it always starts out so innocently, but quickly I realize that it's no use fighting it, I'm gonna have to get CLEAN.

But then there is lots of Aire-drying time, do Kerry Blues run around at top speed rubbing into anything and everything after they get a bath like us Dales do?

Enquiring minds want to know :)

Love,
Bogart

Hiiiiii j'aime cette vidéo !!! Elle est géniale.....
I can't help you a lot with your statistic because I will be 2 (soon) and I only have one (yes ONE) bath....some shower but only on my legs (that's fine...)....
It was not terrible but I don't make nightmare about it....

We had showers last weekend too! We stand there with the "hard done by" look as well. You just know there is something afoot when the shower cubicle is cleared and the dreaded bottle of shampoo comes out of the cupboard.

We don't think that is just a boy-dog thing...we both act that way, too. I, Poppy can be tricked into the tub, but Penny is another story. She hides under a bed and when she is dragged out, she plants her front paws into the carpet and it takes both of our parents to get her into the bathroom. They tricked both of us, last time, and took us to the groomer for baths. We were not expecting THAT!

Air-hugs,
Poppy & Penny
