Interlude: The Return of the Wacko Snowdogs

He's back!

Old Man Winter, that is...

And I, Bailey Blue, the
Über-Kerry, am left to face him with characteristic fearlessness!

Snowdrifts as high as an Irish Wolfhound! This is sooooo tedious!

Well--the male human-lackey will just have to dig out a play-area in the back yard!

Okay, let's test the frozen waters...

I must say, I DO NOT LIKE WINTER ONE BIT! We Kerrys tend to sink in the snow, and if I disappear, they might not find me 'til spring.

Thank goodness that snow-blower works now! The mice built a nest in the carburetor, and Dad had to take the whole thing apart. Okay, let's bring out Bozo and see if he can stay out of trouble for five nanoseconds!

I'm bored. I'm SUPER-bored. Maybe I can torment Buster to the point that he'll need therapy!

Oh, I LOVE my work!

Now it's time to test-drive my new, "Chew-Resistant" bed! The humans just got it for me, 'cuz they think I've got a stomach ailment and they think I need rest. In truth, I keep erping because I accidently swallowed Buster's nose.

Poor Buster! All the excitement got him pretty dazed. I'll start pushing his buttons tonight, and he'll never know what hit him.

Ah...la vie est belle! Winter can't last, and I can sleep well, knowing that I'm good at what I do!

G'Night,

Bailey Blue

I too was pretty displeased at the start of winter snows - we haven't had any for awhile now here in Portland but that could change... nothing like that feeling of your foot just cracking through the snow and realizing - too late - that it goes down a few feet!

I was watching a dog show tonight on Animal Planet - just after the Airedale came the Kerry Blue! Both GORGEOUS dogs, but neither of our countrymen won this time around :(

Sending you warm and toasty thoughts...

Love,
Bogart

Oh toute cette neige. Ici nous n'en avons presque plus mais ils en annoncent pour la semaine prochaine. Je crois que j'aimerais aller vivre avec Noah et ses soeurs en Australie. Vous venez ?

Oh. My. Dawg!! That is some really deep snow! We've got it coming apparently, thankfully we don't get it so bad cos we're near the coast! We love it but our Mum hates driving in it which means we miss out on our beach and that's bad news!
Love the cute pics :o)
We hope you don't mind that we're following you, Holly & Zac sent us to check you out!

Sweet Bailey!

I too am missing the snow. We've had 50 degree weather here but I'd gladly trade with you. I'm one of those crazy pups who TOTALLY loves the snow.

Now about Buster, do you think it's safe to wind him up any more than he already is naturally? I'm wondering if he'll spin off into some kind of psychotic episode from which he will never be retrieved. You know him best, though.

Thanks for showing your bootiful face and showing us your great ball moves. We hardly get to see you!

Goober love & smooches,
STanley

Bailey, we hope you are feeling better, by now! It looks like lots of fun to play in the snow! We've never seen more than a "dusting" here, in Georgia! Good luck in your aggravation of theBuster!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

Hi! We just found you through the Beagles blog! Madison is a Giant Schnauzer - sometimes people guess she is a Kerry Blue. It is great to see so many photos of you and read your wonderful blog. We'll be back! PS don't send that snow this way!

We just got more snow dumped on us, Buster! Time for the old snow blower to make another appearance and the mountains of snow get higher! Hurry spring!

Love ya lots,
