Yes, friends, it was true! Mom said we looked "ratty," and we were! Our coats were full of unspeakable things we'd picked up while rolling in the snow.
Our features were undefinable...
It was hard to tell one of us from the other.
Mom said it was BATHTIME !
And lo, it came to pass that we were bathed today.
Bailey regained the natural shine on her coat...
I got back in touch with my inner wolf, unencumbered by the things I'd rolled in and picked up...
Mom tried to blow-dry me and I told her I could do it better myself !
Bailey accepted the assistance of her personalized space heater...
And we quietly settled down for the next edition of Dogs 101 on Animal Planet !
They say that baths are not masculine, but I don't care !
I feel good.
The only trouble is, it'll take me another week of mud-diving to replace the stuff that I lost.
I'll start that little project tomorrow!

We've been busy gathering sticks and straw sn other wonderful things in our coats and Mom says we smell bad. Can you believe she says that to our faces? Dad got out the clippers and the scissors this morning so I think they're going to destroy all our hard work.
As you say, we can always start over.
I'm sure woo will rekhondition your khoat in NO time at all!

It's nice to be pampered now and again...but not too often when baths are involved hehe.

How long does it take the bath water to penetrate all of those lush thick curls, Buster?! We like the idea of the heater! Nice!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
this is such a funny blog--the pictures are priceless. you guys are so scuffy and nutty!
I love your beards. By the time I was old enough to play outside the ground was all covered in snow. I never get to track mud in, just wet snow that gets stepped on by feet in previously dry socks.
Ah well. Soon spring will come and I'll get to play in the mud too.
